David
Owner / Founder & Poop Pickerupper
With over 10 years of experience working with dogs, David is the person you'll usually meet first at Wild at Heart. His love of Golden Retrievers began with Sam, the dog who started it all and ultimately inspired the journey that became Wild at Heart. From morning walks and meet & greets to keeping an eye on every dog's individual routine, David is at the heart of the day-to-day running of our home boarding.
Amy
Owner / Founder & Chief Cuddler
Amy co-founded Wild at Heart alongside David and is a big part of what makes it feel like home. Whether it's welcoming a new guest, making sure everyone's settled or providing an extra cuddle when it's needed, Amy brings the calm, caring side of family life to Wild at Heart. And yes, she still says “awww” to almost every dog she meets.
Bella & Daphne
Resident Dogs
Bella and Daphne are our resident Golden Retrievers and a huge part of life at Wild at Heart. They're often the first four-legged faces a new guest meets and help turn a house full of unfamiliar smells and sounds into somewhere that quickly feels a little more familiar. From exploring the garden together to curling up after a busy day, they're not just our dogs — they're part of the welcome.
Katie
Canine Assistant
Katie helps out at Wild at Heart alongside her college studies and has grown up surrounded by dogs. She's always happy to get involved, whether that's helping with the dogs, joining a walk or simply keeping someone company when they're ready for a quiet afternoon. She's also another pair of hands when six guests decide they all want attention at once.
